Goodbye, Corey Haim

So much to report about and so little time!

As most of you have heard one of the greatest 80′s child stars Corey Haim Died today March 10th 2009 of unknown causes.  There are not many details at this point but I’m sure it will unfold in the next couple of days. Never the less, he was a very entertaining actor who brought many movie alive for many of us.  I’m sure many will remember him for Lost Boys, but for me… I loved him in Dream a Little Dream.  In his hay days Corey was an icon in the film world, a heart throb for the ladies and the envy of every guy who wanted to be like him. He was the cool, funny, smart-ass character in the movies that most of us yearned to be in real life.  As an actor he inspired a lot of us to follow our  dreams and to be bigger than what we were. He wasn’t a god nor a hero, but he was that familiar face recognized while flipping through channels that would make us stop and finish the program no matter how far into the movie it was.

Corey Haim will be missed like an old friend that I grew up with but never got to meet in person.  Thanks for all the wonderful memories Corey and I hope you found that peace that you couldn’t find here on earth.
